Challenging Contra Dance
The challenging contra has been suspended due to lack of dancers.
Next Dance: CANCELLED 7:30 to 10:30pm
This is a dance session for those who are already experienced folk, contra or square dancers. There is no beginners class, and the session is NOT suitable for beginners.
Cost will be £4 with free refreshments.

The style will still be American and fast, though
there may be a greater proportion of squares. As well as
mind-stretching dances I will be looking at patter called contras and
gender benders. Don’t know what they are?
Come along and find out!
As with the contra, we will be using recorded music.
There will be a short interval for tea / coffee at around 9:15. Water, tea and coffee will be available but there is no bar.

Getting to St Katherine's Priory
St Katherine's Priory is in the Pinhoe area of Exeter, and is easily walkable from the city centre as well as quick to get to by car. It has bags of character and plenty of parking. Satnav: EX4 7JY
From the main Pinhoe Road (B3212), at the lights near Polsloe Bridge Station with the Fish and Chip shop / ATS Tyre place turn up Beacon Lane. After going under the railway bridge, turn left into St Katherine's road. The priory is down a lane on the left at the end of this road.
